Super Mario 64 speed-run record broken

Super Mario fanatic, Siglemic has broken his previous speed-run record for Super Mario 64 by collecting all 120 stars in a new world record time of 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 54 seconds.

Siglemic, who said he has played the game for roughly 5,000 hours (that’s 208 days) over 3 years, completed the record run in the Japanese version of the game as it is 2.7 seconds shorter than its European counterpart.

Check out the leaderboards for Super Mario speedruns to see other players who completed the game in record time, but chose not to collect all the stars.
