The cast of Star Wars: Episode 7 has been announced – with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill all returning to the set.
The announcement, which was was made on the official Star Wars site, does not end there, with Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Kenny Baker (R2-D2) set to join their famous counterparts. Composer John Williams also returns to score the film.
New actors entering the galactic fray are: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
“We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode 7. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud,” said director J.J. Abrams.
Star Wars: Episode 7 is set to be released on 18 December 2015.
