Wolfenstein: The New Order PC requirements revealed

If you want to kill some Nazis, Wolfenstein style, brush off your i7s and HD 6850s – the PC requirements for Bethesda’s upcoming title have been released.

The game’s creators said on their blog that if you want to get 60 frames per second while maintaining next-gen graphics you will need:

  • 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
  • Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD
  • 4 GB System RAM
  • 50 GB free HDD space
  • GeForce 460, ATI Radeon HD 6850
  • High speed Internet connection
  • Steam account and activation required

“These are the system requirements to deliver the PC game as it was intended to be experienced,” said Bethesda.

For those who will be getting a console version of the game, Bethesda detailed the storage space required to install Wolfenstein.

  • PlayStation 4 – 47 GB. Voice commands optional;
  • Xbox One – 47 GB. Kinect support for Voice Commands (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish);
  • Xbox 360 – 8 GB minimum. Game includes four discs, including the first disc that is a mandatory installation disc;
  • PlayStation 3 – 8 GB; PSN download – 17 GB.

Wolfenstein: The New Order launches on 20th May 2014.

    50GB HDD space, actually I’m not surprised anymore, this is becoming the norm. Other specs are decent, they’ve obviously optimised the game so we don’t need ridiculous PC specs, perhaps these are the minimum specs, which is still very decent and affordable for those who would actually need to upgrade to play this..
