Market research company Gfk has released its latest sales hit list for SA retail, revealing which were the top 5 best-selling games in March 2014. This includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.
On PC, it’s no surprise to see the Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls topping the chart, and since the base game is required it also had a strong showing. Grand Theft Auto 4 remains popular, likely due to the lack of concrete news regarding a GTA 5 PC port.
Over on PlayStation 4, Infamous: Second Son was the big title for the month, and as one of the few PS4 exclusives available we’d expect to see it topping the chart. Interestingly, Thief remains popular a month after release despite its lukewarm critical reception.
Below is a chart detailing the top 5 selling games at SA retail for March 2014.
