Virgin recently opened up about its planned online gaming service, explaining that it is designed to supplement Xbox Live and PSN, enabling players to bet on games and win sweet prizes.
Players are assigned a skill level, and then matched against similarly skilled players.
Virgin Gaming will be teaming up with other Virgin subsidiaries, and they told Shacknews that some of the prizes we can expect to see up for grabs include free Virgin Mobile service, as well as more exciting prospects, such as “a trans-Atlantic LAN party in the sky on Virgin Atlantic or a trip to space on Virgin Galactic.”
