Watch Dogs is proving popular with more than just the gaming media – the new title from Ubisoft is topping most torrent sites in terms of highest seeded files.
A quick look at some of the more popular torrent sites revealed that the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 versions of the game were being seeded and leeched the most in the games category, beating its rivals by a large margin.
As we state in the all our articles that focus on piracy: if you are illegally downloading or sharing a game, you are hurting the gaming industry. While it is sad to see a title being pirated pre-launch, it is an indication of the game’s popularity, and hopefully a sign it will do well in the sales charts.
