Watch Dogs problems: Ubisoft working on fixes

The UK Ubisoft forum manager has posted a list of currently known issues for Watch Dogs on all platforms, and will be updating the post as they are being worked through.

While a couple of issues have been resolved, there are eight issues identified at the time of writing that are still under investigation.

Below is a summary of what Watch Dogs users are dealing with as of 28 May 2014.

“Vista SP1 or higher required” error message when launching the game, even though the OS is Vista SP1 or higher.

[Status] In order to fix this, go to the game installation folder.
Right click the Watch_Dogs.exe and click Properties.
Click on the Compatibility tab.
Check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” checkbox, and select Vista SP1, SP2 or Windows 7 in the list.

Graphics driver crash on AMD video cards:

[Status] You should make sure to install the Catalyst 14.4 drivers that fix this crash.
Please check AMD has released 14.4 on Vista, this may be an issue.

Not being able to download the game or being locked out of the loading screen

[SOLVED]PS4 digital pre-order Licensing / Unlock issue:

Users have pre-ordered the Digital version of the game, from the PSN store – however unable to unlock the game at release.

UPDATED – MAY 28: [Status] SOLVED The Sony and Watch_Dogs teams were working continuously on this issue yesterday. As of last night, all of the pending pre-orders had been fulfilled and corrected – all users who were pending payment should now have the licence to play their purchased game.
Sony exclusive DLC keys in retail boxes are NOW WORKING.
Season Pass codes distributed in retail stores are NOW WORKING.

Game crashes when loading if using SLi/Crossfire linked multiple GPU’s
