THQ has revealed that a follow up to their survival-action-horror Metro 2033 is currently in early development. Creatively titled Metro 2034, we can only assume that it will take place a year after the original.
Speaking to CVG, THQ’s Danny Bilson could barely contain his excitement when discussing Metro 2034 as one of 4 planned 3D releases from the publisher. Other titles include Saints Row for the Nintendo 3DS, and De Blob 2: The Underground.
“Some people were confused about why we’d go into a market where there’s only one percent TVs,” told CVG. “It’s about a great game and a plus up on the marketing side. We’re there at low risk and high quality, but, again, we’ll have to see how that market grows and what value is there.”
