According to Eurogamer and an image that appeared on NeoGAF, Steam will kick off its Steam Summer Sale on 19 June 2014.

As a console gamer, this is my first Summer Sale, but James tells me it is not to be underestimated. “No one can resist the Steam Summer Sale, no one. Also, where’s my coffee, noob?” he said to me.
