BioWare is asking gamers – and particularly Mass Effect fans – what they would like to see in the next Mass Effect title.
Series producer Michael Gamble took to Twitter today (15 July 2014) with a link to a survey, asking fans to “help us make the next Mass Effect the best one yet”.
It’s not the first time BioWare has reached out to fans about the future of Mass Effect – the last time the studio asked for input, it was still feeling out where the series would go.
The survey gauges what kinds of games you play, and asks, as an RPG fan, what features you rank highest while playing these kinds of titles.
Then it asks for feedback regarding the four main aspects of Mass Effect – namely: Story, Combat, Exploration, and Customisation – and what you think of it all.
As a massive fan of the series, you can bet your donkey I’ve done my part.
Gamers got their first glimpse of the next stage of Mass Effect at E3 this year, when BioWare offered a brief look at the title, which is still in the early stages of development.
The game is departing from the original trilogy and moving to a “whole new region of space”, promising a new and surprising experience for fans, with deeper and broader exploration.
BioWare will be hosting a Mass Effect panel at the San Diego Comic Con later this month, so hopefully we’ll be getting some juicy new info soon. I can’t wait.
What would you like to see in the next Mass Effect game? Let us know in the comments or on the forum.
