20th Century Fox has revealed the new Hitman, and yes, the shaved-head Agent 47 is dual wielding pistols.
Scheduled to be released in February 2015, the latest Hitman movie will star Rupert Friend (Peter Quinn from Homeland) with Zachary Quinto (Spock from the new Star Trek films) also earning a starring role.
Footage from the film was shown off at Comic-Con, along with the two stills we have put up in the article. No mention of the previous film tying into the new story has been made, so don’t expect a cameo appearance by Timothy Olyphant.
The original Hitman movie scored an abysmal 35 on Metacritic, and I can’t say I was blown away by the attempt at a stealth-action shoot-em-up. In fact, the movie was pathetic and did not do the game justice at all.
If it does flop, let’s at least hope the leading lady is as alluring Olga Kurylenko was in the previous film.
