Minecraft gets full-scale Lego set

23 August 2014

One could argue that Minecraft is like a giant, digital game of Lego. So it is only fitting that the game receive a real-life Lego version of itself in honour of all the creativity it has inspired.

Officially licensed by the plastic brick makers, the two Minecraft Lego sets – The Cave and The Farm – are currently retailing for £20 and £25 (±R445) respectively online.

Previous Lego Minecraft sets were built to a micro scale, but the two new sets are set to be offered at full-scale – including regular-sized figurines.

Future sets coming soon are reported to be The First Night, and larger sets The Mine, and The Ender Dragon – a huge rendition of the game’s final boss.
