Slams and Supercars – games releasing this week

There is plenty of variety in this week’s installment of new game releases, with fans of racing, sport, and death by alien claw all catered for.

Alien: Isolation

Alien: Isolation releases locally for the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on 7 October 2014.

The survival-horror game finally makes its arrival after weeks of short, terrifying trailers showing your character being impaled by the Xenomorphs.

NBA 2K15

NBA 2K15 releases for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on 10 October 2014.

2K has held the basketball crown for some time now, and it looks like its reign will continue into 2015 with more slam dunks and nothing-but-net three-pointers.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is due to be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on 10 October 2014.

The game has been stepped up to 1080p, includes all its DLC (somewhere in the region of 24 DLC packs), and the gameplay has been fine-tuned, according to the game’s makers.
