Guinness World Records announces top 50 video games

To mark the release of the Guinness World Records 2015 Gamer’s Edition, the publication has released a gamer-based “top 50 games of all time” list.

Guinness surveyed 5,000 gamers from 140 countries, a respectable sample size, simply asking them what their favourite game was.

Call of Duty took top spot, followed by Super Mario Bros., Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, and The Legend of Zelda.

MyGaming conducted its own “greatest game ever made” poll a few months back which revealed Super Mario Bros. as a favourite among South Africans.
