Great news MyGaming readers – your (hopefully) favourite site is the biggest gaming website in South Africa.
Effective Measure recently released its traffic statistics for November 2014, revealing that MyGaming had the most local unique visitors for the month compared to its direct competitors.
Effective Measure is the official traffic measurement partner of the IAB South Africa (formerly DMMA), and provides accurate traffic and demographics statistics for South Africa’s top websites.
The race for top spot is normally a tight one, with Lazygamer and Mweb Gaming providing stiff competition. As you can see from the stats, listed below, the difference between first and third spot is just over 2,500 visitors.

What must be noted is that only websites listed with the IAB of South Africa and Effective Measure are taken into account. Sites which are not signed up to and tracked by the official body are not listed.
Other gaming sites who are registered with Effective Measure do not come close to the top three, and therefore we have left them out.
MyGaming’s big brother, MyBroadband, also performed well in November – with a record month of 1,146,490 local unique visitors.
On behalf of the crew at MyGaming, I would like to say thank you to all you who click on, comment, criticise, troll, and occasionally read content on the site.
