Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is shaping up to be yet another great game in the series, especially with the multiplayer modes giving an impressive showing at E3 2010. One industrious attendee of the Gamescom event in Germany managed to film the game in action.
Ezio makes his return in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and this time his stomping ground is Rome. Ezio must rebuild his brotherhood of assassin’s in preparation for battling the Templars. Ezio will therefore be recruiting new assassins to his cause, sending them on missions or using them as support in order to level them up.
The video shows off Ezio and some of his assassin recruits. According to the gentleman describing the video, as Ezio levels up his recruits through the animus, new skills become available to them.
The video shows off some pretty neat tricks. Ezio directs his recruits to shower an enemy patrol with arrows. Then, the recruits drop from the ceiling of a cathedral to take out the target’s body guards. Ezio then shows off one of his own new weapons, a crossbow, which is a really effective long range killing device.
Making his escape from the cathedral, Ezio once again calls his recruits in for some assistance – a large scale battle ensues, and the Assassin’s drop plenty of smoke bombs to screen their escape.
The demonstrator also briefly talks about the customisability of the assassin recruits, say that there will be both male and female recruits with customisable clothing colours, cloaks, and weapons.
