Super Time Force for the Xbox One is about to get the Ultra treatment, and that means a whole lot more content – a lot of it lovingly zany.

In spite of dropping this update yesterday, April 1^st, Capybara Games assures us that this is not an April Fool’s joke. That’s fantastic news because while Super Time Force is a superbly enjoyable title, Super Time Force Ultra, released for the PC and scheduled for Sony’s consoles sometime this year, is that much better. It’s not called “Ultra” for nothing.

The Ultra update, which should have already finished updating should you own Super Time Force on Xbox One, adds many of the additions made to the Ultra release. That means 50 new challenge mode levels, Ultra Force mode and an assortment of new achievements.

The only thing not added in this newest update are the PC exclusive characters, which is a bit of a shame but totally understandable.
