Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 deserves the “Ultimate” Moniker

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4

From a game that looks to play a lot like the Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise—we’re talking about Saint Seiya: Soldiers’ Soul here—to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 itself. Set to Rasengan the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year, it’s starting to look pretty darn gorgeous, as cel shaded games go at least.

It seems that CyberConnect2 has decided that there’s no such thing as too many particle effects, nor should they hold back in what is likely the final game in the series – minus the inevitable remixed release of course.

You know what, just watch the trailer and judge for yourself:

CyberConnect2 certainly know how to do the Naruto franchise justice, having clearly taken advantage of the extra processing power the current generation consoles have to offer.

Our only concern now is that CyberConnect2 concoct a decent story mode for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Telling the story is great and all, but this is a fighter. If we wanted to experience the story in detail, we would watch the anime or read the manga.
