Mevius Mobius Final Fantasy—we could have sworn this used to be called Mevius Final Fantasy—continues Square Enix’s trend of late to bring something new to the franchise. Unfortunately, they haven’t told us all that much about Mobius Final Fantasy just yet.
What this newest trailer does demonstrate, however, is Square Enix’s obvious talent for producing a premium visual experience. Hosted over on the Square Enix Channel, you should definitely check it out. Warning: There’s an annoying fairy thing someway into the video. The Moogle is adorable though.
It’s hard to believe it’ll look that good on smart devices, but we’re willing to give Square Enix the benefit of the doubt. It’s particularly action-centric combat system is also fairly appealing, and we can’t wait to give it a try.
Except for a brief demonstration of an all too familiar job system, something we’re okay with, it’s a pity the trailer didn’t show more.
Mobius Final Fantasy continues the Final Fantasy trend of using unwieldy swords. That can’t be good for his back.
