Over the course of the past few days, EA has been releasing components of a teaser image over on the official Star Wars: Battlefront Instagram page. Once pieced together, the images form what we assume to be DICE’s interpretation of a Stormtrooper.
It’s a Stormtrooper Obi-Wan, but not as we know it.
The Stormtrooper itself is all quite exciting, but there’s even better news. Better than a Stormtrooper? Is it a Jedi? Even better.
At the EA panel of the Star Wars Celebration event tomorrow, DICE will reveal the gameplay of Star Wars: Battlefront for the first time in a global live broadcast. We’re ready!
Streaming begins tonight at 10:00AM PST (that’s 7PM locally) and can be viewed on StarWars.com or on Star Wars’ official YouTube channel. EA’s panel begins tomorrow, April 17, at 10:30AM PST (7:30PM locally). However you watch it, the important thing is that you do.
DICE and the Frostbite 3 engine have the potential to concoct the Star Wars game of our dreams.
