If you’re as big a fan of the Warhammer universe, both Fantasy and 40K, as well as the Total War series as we are, then this trailer really only has one possible outcome, goose bumps.
We’ve known that Total War: Warhammer was on its way for a while now, but nothing could have prepared us for how well The Creative Assembly has treated the franchise and its license in this trailer. There’s just so much to see, to marvel at and to contemplate.
As you can see, the trailer reveals four playable factions thus far: the Greenskins, the Empire, the Vampire Counts and the Dwarves. Those four races, and potentially a few more, will duke it out in the way Total War does best: turn-based strategic overviews and real-time, large scale tactical combat. It’s really exciting.
The Creative Assembly and Sega have also announced that two expansions will be added subsequent to Total War: Wahammer’s release and eventually form the largest Total War game thus far.
