Everything goes bang in this Just Cause 3 gameplay debut trailer

Just Cause 3

After teasing that Just Cause 3 would finally be shown off publicly today, it has officially landed, or more sort of crash landed. And just as you might have expected, there’s nothing that isn’t blown up or dragged through something else courtesy of a grappling line. It’s Just Cause all right. Avalanche Studios has done us proud.

The trailer showcases what we all love from the series: crashing a jet-fighter  into something highly combustible, any number of people falling to their deaths from an absurd height and everything else attached to a cable and dragged through communist statues. It’s all in a day’s work.

Just Cause 3 follows Rico Rodriguez as he tears the island of Medici apart, and all in the name of freeing it from the communist rule of General di Ravello. The game features a vast open world, a new exploration mechanic, the wing-suit and visuals to gawp at.

The trailer also mentions a pre-order incentive called the “Weaponized Vehicle Pack”, but little more is disclosed. Just Cause 3 is set for release this Christmas on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
