Releasing October 27th of this year, Halo 5: Guardians has got to be the most highly anticipated Xbox One exclusive this year, or near to it. You merely need to look towards how quickly the community solved the puzzle of Halo 5’s cover art to figure that out:
Last week, several cryptic images were released to various online channels across the globe…no instructions, no explanation, no references to the Halo universe. It didn’t take long for Halo Nation to scour the Internet to piece together the mystery to reveal the cover art for Halo 5: Guardians.”

There’s so much to this image we almost didn’t notice how fantastic it looked.
It’s for that reason that we’re expecting to be blown away by 343 Industries at the likes of E3 and Gamescom this year. After all, this image only adds to the questions that need answering.
Master Chief and Spartan Locke facing off against one other is all well and good, but there’s so much we don’t yet know about James Locke and the rest of the Oni Spartan team. Who are these Spartans? What’s their beef with Master Chief? Are they even at odds? How is this related to Halo 4? Why is Master Chief in the shadow of Spartan Locke and Locke’s fire team in the shadow of Master Chief? And just who is accompanying Master Chief?
The #HUNTtheTRUTH campaign, a marketing campaign designed to slowly reveal the answers we’re looking for, has only revealed so much thus far, and we’re still so curious.
