Get bloody with Jason Voorhees in Mortal Kombat X

4 May 2015

Today it was announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment that Jason Voorhees is about to make Mortal Kombat X an even gorier game. This bundle will be made available for early download to Kombat Pack owners as of tomorrow.

Out of the bundle you can expect Jason, of Friday 13th fame, as a playable character. Along with the machete wielding lunatic, you’ll receive the Horror pack which includes three themed skins such as Vampiress Mileena, Pharaoh Ermac and Kraken Reptile. All of these character skins are great horror twists on well-known Mortal Kombat characters, combining Mortal Kombat characters with classic movie monsters.

If you’re a Mortal Kombat fan and you don’t own the Kombat Pack, you can purchase the Jason bundle starting Tuesday, May 12 via Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Marketplace for R118.27. Both Jason and the Horror Pack will be sold separately for R72.71 and R59.96 each. Should you want all of the DLC in one go, you can buy the Mortal X Kombat Pack in full for R455.42.

We reckon with Jason Voorhees added to the Mortal Kombat X roster, you’ll be able to pull some bloody and gory fatalities. What do you think will be the implications of introducing Jason to the Mortal Kombat universe? We think it’s pretty awesome, to the say least.
