Fate of the World developers snag top industry composer

15 September 2010

Following their previous announcement that renowned author David Bishop would be penning the script for Fate of the World, developer Red Redemption has announced that award winning composer Richard Jacques will be producing the musical score for the game.

Richard Jacques has composed for blockbuster franchises such as Mass Effect (BioWare), Alice in Wonderland (Disney), Headhunter (Amuze/Sega) and Starship Troopers (Empire/Sony Pictures).

Ian Roberts, Red Redemption creative director, said “Richard is a phenomenally talented composer; his work is a delight. We’re extremely thankful and delighted to have him involved.”

With this musical and scripting talent behind the scenes, indie developer Red Redemption might just have a sleeper hit on their hands.

Fate of the World is a global strategy game that puts our future in the player’s hands. Players will have to decide how the world will respond to rising temperatures, heaving populations, dwindling resources, crumbling ecosystems and brave opportunities.

Fate of the World goes on pre-order sale and beta download 29th October 2010.
