Overwatch 60fps gameplay shows Blizzard means business - Feature Image

Blizzard’s very own team shooter Team Fortress 3 Overwatch has finally had some new glorious 60fps gameplay released into the wild.

The game was announced last year and many people have had the chance to play Blizzard’s very own version of Team Fortress.

Thus far, we’ve heard largely positive feedback from those who’ve experienced the game at trade shows, and colour us jealous that we haven’t had the chance to test out the game yet.

Overwatch was meant to have a beta release out earlier last year but due to trademark and copyright issues with the name “Overwatch”, and Blizzard ran into a bit of  a snag.

These videos below show a bit of the awesome uncut gameplay we are missing out on with Overwatch characters in action.

We’re extremely excited for Overwatch, and with all these new character gameplay videos coming out, we can’t wait to get our grubby hands on some testable code.

Overwatch was born from the ashes of Blizzard’s former project named Titan.

As a result, this will be Blizzard’s first new franchise in 17 years.

The game has an appealing pick up and play aspect going for it, and with a lengthy beta coming in the near future, we hope we can get into the beta at some stage.
