PS4 exclusive Until Dawn to kill you very soon

For all you horror fans out there, who happen to have a PS4 that is, Until Dawn has just received a release date.

Prepare to have your pants scared right off come Tuesday, August 25th.

According to Pete Samuels, Executive Producer from Supermassive Games, they’re entering the final stages before the release of the game. We will be seeing more about the game in the coming months.

A new cast member has also joined the cast for Until Dawn. Actor Peter Stomare, known for his roles in Prison Break, The Big Lebowski and, most recently, Arrow will be making an appearance in the game.

During the game’s development, Supermassive games have been capturing cast members’ performances via motion capture. The end result, even from screenshots so far, is looking to be pretty impressive.

The released cover art for Until Dawn is plenty creepy itself. If you pre-order the game, you’ll be able to unlock a special bonus scene. It’s a great to see a survival horror game make its way as an exclusive to the PS4.

In a year where the PS4 doesn’t have many exclusives, Until Dawn is a bloody welcome, literally.
