NAG LAN @ rAge to attempt Guinness World Record

30 September 2010

With an eight year history, the NAG LAN @ rAge saw humble beginnings, with 200 gamers attending the first event. 2009’s rAge LAN set a South African record for the largest LAN event, with 2 162 gamers taking part in the gaming festival. This year the number of attendees falls slightly short of that number, with 2 080 gamers registered to participate.

This hasn’t stopped the record breaking attitude however; SA gamers will be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest non-stop LAN.

The current record was set by gamers at Cyber Fusion 2009, who played for 40 hours non-stop at the Multimedia University in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Whilst these gamers represent SA and try to break a record, the rAge expo will be going on all around. MyGaming has compiled a list of the cool unreleased titles that will be at the expo for hands-on play by the visiting public.
