Play as Batgirl in the upcoming Arkham Knight DLC: dates revealed

If Arkham Knight has been feeling a little too “manly” for you, the game is set to get a dose of female ass-kickery, as the Batgirl DLC is heading our way next week.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC will be available July 14th for Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass owners, and everyone else on July 21st for £5.79 (around R110).

The spin-off DLC is set before Batman: Arkham Asylum, and lets you play as Batgirl for the first time in the Arkham franchise.

It was developed by Arkham Origin’s developer WB Games Montréal (who handled Batman: Arkham Origins), not Rocksteady.

Here’s the official blurb:

When The Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to The Joker’s sinister plan. Trained by Batman, Batgirl’s combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, control objects and solve puzzles.”

We can’t wait. Unless you’re unfortunate enough to be playing Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, then you’ll have to wait.
