Raw Fallout 4 footage: enjoy

Fallout 4

Have you seen all of Bethesda’s Fallout 4 E3 gameplay footage in all its glory yet? Do you want to see limbs removed with a number of colourful, creative weaponry?

If we have anything to say about it, Fallout 4 should be entitled ‘Fallout 4: Limbs be gone”.

Knowing full well what makes gamers tick, Bethesda has released some raw gameplay footage of Fallout 4 for our viewing pleasure.

The gameplay trailer has a running time of about 5-and-a-half minutes, and we’ll admit that it’s not the most action-packed trailer ever.

It does, however, provide a little context for what was shown at E3.

Visually, Fallout 4 is by no means The Witcher 3, but making that comparison is a little underhanded and largely pointless.

The wasteland, for one, is far more colourful than we’ve seen before. Environments seem far more diverse and detailed than in the previous games, and this uncut trailer really hammers home the expansiveness of Fallout 4.

Bethesda has chosen to focus on gameplay, atmosphere and narrative, and as a result, Fallout 4 looks mighty impressive. And did anyone hear that in-game soundtrack; it’s fantastic.

It’s also great to once again see the robot Codsworth, our adorable doggy and Preston Garvey who were all featured in the previous trailer.

In regards to V.A.T.S., it appears that it slows down combat, rather than pausing it as in the previous games. This is pretty nifty in our opinion and perhaps will liven up combat somewhat.

Nonetheless, we are extremely excited for Fallout 4 and this raw gameplay trailer has increased our hype ten-fold.

Fallout 4 will be out on November 10th for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, and we are definitely looking forward to it.
