GTA IV Complete edition revealed

6 October 2010

Rockstar Games has yet to make an official announcement regarding the GTA IV complete edition, but hawk-eyed gaming journalists have spotted the game listed on American online retail stores Amazon and GameStop.

In South Africa, Take2 is listing the title for Xbox 360 and PS3. No mention of a PC version yet. It’s coming in at a regular price of R455, but currently there is a pre-order special for R439. The game is set for release in SA on 29 October 2010.

We assume that other South African retailers will be catching on soon and listing their pricing for the title.

The Grand Theft Auto IV Complete edition features the original hit title, as well as the Liberty City Episodes – The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

For anyone who missed the game upon its initial launch, this is a good opportunity to see what all the fuss was about. Since release, Rockstar has fixed numerous bugs in the PC version that caused performance issues, and have also stripped out the annoying Rockstar Social Club DRM.
