The Golden Joystick Awards are celebrating their 28th year as “the people’s gaming awards.” The awards are given based on votes from the general gaming public. There are currently over 950 000 votes cast across the numerous categories.
The Fighting Game of the Year is a brand new category for the 2010 iteration of the event. Public voting on nominees for all categories closes on 25 October 2010. Votes can be cast on the Golden Joystick website. The winners will be announced on Friday 29th October at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza in London.
