If you’re a Star Wars fan then you probably already know about the limited edition Darth Vader-theme PS4 bundles, which have recently been making waves.

Well, some fans have expressed their disappointment and discontent with the current design for the limited edition console.

As proof of their displeasure, rather than just causing a ruckus, they’ve compared this latest Star Wars console to the last one, the Star Wars Special Edition Xbox 360.

If you take a look at the difference between the Limited Edition Star Wars Xbox 360, released previously, and this current PS4 limited edition console you’re going to notice a rather large difference in quality.

The image above pretty much explains Star Wars fans’ discontent with the themed PS4 console. One Reddit user CakeAK had this to say:

Honestly, all I see is a standard PS4 with a Darth Vader sticker slapped on. I mean, if there are no custom sounds, LEDs, inscriptions, unique hardware designs, special textures, etc. then how is this a “fully customized” console? It’s more like a skin or decal if anything… I don’t know, maybe it’s just me… I just think there’s too much unrealized potential here for such an iconic character and concept design.

However, some fans have turned their unhappiness into something creative by showcasing their own Star Wars PS4 designs. Here are what they look like:

Other people have suggested Darth Vader-related sound effects such as heavy breathing as well as other  awesome sound effects when controllers are paired.

The controller might say, “Luke, I am your father!”, for example, and the console would respond, “Nooooo!”. More of which is explained here.

Like them or not, the official bundles will be releasing on November 17th. But the custom designs above are also quite awesome, and would be cool variations to have for available PS4 Star Wars bundles.
