Gigabyte has revealed it will put up a R26,000 prize pool for the upcoming Gigabyte Dota 2 Challenge.
Gigabyte will work with local casting agency NavTV, who will stream all the games, while the tournament is set to run from 21 – 28 September 2015.
The tournament will consist of 16 teams. Eight teams will be invited, while the other eight spots go to the first teams to register. Registrations are open here.
The top three teams will split the prize money as follows:
- 1st – $1,000 (R13,000)
- 2nd – $600 (R7,200)
- 3rd – $400 (R5,200)
Games will be available on Dota 2 Lounge for item betting. There will also be daily giveaways on the NavTV stream.
