Batman: Arkham Knight - PC Re-Release

So many of us are, unsurprisingly, fed up with Rocksteady and Warner Bros.’ shenanigans regarding the PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight, so you can hardly blame us for missing a relatively important bit of news regarding the port’s re-release.

Weirdly, the announcement that the PC port was, for all intents and purposes, ready for re-release and is set to do so in the next couple weeks was hidden at the bottom of an announcement for new DLC. You’d think a working port would take priority over a couple skins; clearly not.

Either way, Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced a number of DLC content packs set to release, some of them cosmetic while others offer new modes and campaign segments.

You can see it all in the trailer below:

Following that, right near the bottom of the press release, you’ll find the words “the PC version of the game will be available in the coming weeks.”

Try not to make too big a deal of it Warner Bros. It’s not like you’re skating on thin ice as is.

That said, we’re excited to finally play Batman: Arkham Knight as elitists have always intended, with a PC, high resolution textures and plenty of anti-aliasing.

The downloadable content is nice too:

Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2: Grab this Crime Fighter Challenge Pack and receive various challenge maps for Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and the Batmobile. This expansive challenge pack allows focused training in Freeflow Combat and Invisible Predator stealth incursion.

GCPD Lockdown: Set after the events of Arkham Knight, play as Nightwing to stop the Penguin from breaking out of the Gotham City Police Department in this thrilling story pack.

Stay tuned for even more Batman: Arkham Knight downloadable content coming in October, including:

Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack: Travel back in time with the Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack. This pack includes the 1960s TV Series Batmobile, Classic TV Series Catwoman Skin, Classic TV Series Robin Skin and two racetracks inspired by the Batman Classic TV Series.

Catwoman’s Revenge: Set after the events of Arkham Knight, prowl the night as Catwoman as she seeks her revenge on the Riddler with this story pack.

Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #3: Get this Crime Fighter Challenge Pack to receive various combat and predator maps featuring Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Azrael.
