So Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits isn’t enough? Now John Lennon’s Imagine album is apparently on its way over to the Rock Band Store, as premium DLC for Rock Band 3. Well, the title track is already in the game, of course, but the rest of the album is dropping in too, including:

4. “I Don’t Wanna Be a Soldier Mama”
5. “Gimme Some Truth”
6. “Oh My Love”

“The songs on John Lennon’s Imagine run the gamut from beautiful piano-driven ballads like ‘Jealous Guy’ to all-out guitar rockers like ‘Gimme Some Truth’,” says Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of electronic games, music and programming for MTV Networks. “It’s an incredible musical statement, and a real workout on keyboard, guitar and vocals in Rock Band 3. We’re very excited to confirm it as one of the first downloads for our new game, and to help our fans celebrate John’s 70th birthday with its release.”
No confirmation yet whether a separate instrument track for a plastic Charter Arms .38 Special revolver replica controller will be added, but I’m guessing not. So much for realism.
