There’s so much hype behind Star Wars Battlefront that the anticipation is practically palpable. And why not, we loved the beta and think there’s some serious potential for the game.
Heck, it even looks great at low graphics settings, though it does recommend 16GB RAM for PC gamers looking to max it out.
Knowing full well just how gorgeous it is, designer and artist Berdu took professional screenshots during the Star Wars Battlefront beta that are too good to be true.
Fortunately, having seen what DICE has whipped up using the Frostbite 3 engine for ourselves, we know these images are legitimate.

The screenshots look like works of art akin to surreal landscape paintings that are begging to be glorified artworks in their own right.
Some of the shots are quite dynamic, making the game look like a different beast altogether. But perhaps the most astounding thing about Berdu’s work is that it’s all taken in-game.

To get these screenshots, Berdu uses a mix of console commands, third-party tools and contributions from friends.
He freed up the game’s camera and swooped around crashing ships and into characters’ faces to get some amazing shots.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to release in South Africa on November 20th. And we can’t wait to see what it can do when cranked up to 4k resolution.
