Over the last few months the local ADSL market became very competitive with uncapped ADSL prices dropping to below R100 per month and per-GB prices slashed to below R10 per GB on promotional offers.
Afrihost has now gone one step further and is offering 500 consumers free 1GB data packages. Unlike many other ‘free’ offers these accounts do not expire and provide subscribers with 1GB of free ADSL data every month, forever.
“There are no catches,” Afrihost says. “This account does not expire or only last for a month. You get 1 free GB of unshaped, fast ADSL from Afrihost every month, forever.”
The free 1GB accounts will be handed out on a first come first serve basis, and applications will open at 12:00 today.
“These accounts are limited to one per person and are locked to the Telkom landline number you provide when signing up – so please make sure you enter your number right,” Afrihost said in its promotional material.
Good news for Afrihost’s existing capped ADSL clients is that they will be getting a free GB of ADSL data every month at no cost. “They can claim this in their Client Zone,” said Afrihost.
