Software Applications (more commonly known as Apps) have become very popular with smartphone users, especially since the launch of Apple’s App Store in 2008, which features both free and paid applications.
Smartphone app stores are most commonly associated with mobile operating systems such as the iPhone OS (iOS), Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Meego.
To date around 300,000 iPhone Apps and 100,000 Android Apps have been released, giving a strong indication of the popularity of these smartphone applications.
Numerous MyBroadband and MyGaming users have been asking for dedicated iPhone and Android forum apps and their requests did not fall on deaf ears.
MyBroadband recently released four new apps: iPhone and Android forum apps for MyBroadband as well as iPhone and Android forum apps for MyGaming.
The applications are available free of charge on both the Apple App Store and Android Market under the names ‘MyBroadband’ and ‘MyGaming’. If a user searches for ‘MyBroadband’ in the app stores they should see both applications returned.
