The sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider, is building up to be quite an impressive-looking adventure, and if you were doubting that, a new video series is being released to highlight some of the core features of the new action game.

The first episode in the video series aims to take a closer look at the gameplay mechanics “central to Lara Croft’s journey of destiny and discovery”.

In Episode 1 – which you can see below – viewers will get a clearer idea of how Lara utilises new skills to survive in hostile landscapes filled with dangerous wildlife, allies, and enemies.

Developed once again by Crystal Dynamics, Rise of the Tomb Raider will premiere exclusively on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 13th, 2015.

The game is scheduled for PC early next year with a PlayStation 4 release planned for holiday 2016.

This is definitely on our list of must-plays this holiday season.
