Fallout’s Nuka-Cola Quantum is real

Nuka-cola Quantum

There’s been a lot of Fallout 4 news lately, including the fact that Microsoft doesn’t feel the game will cannibalise sales of Rise of the Tomb Raider, that Fallout 4‘s PC release actually has data on the disc and that the game won’t have intensive PC requirements.

But do you remember coming across bottles of the delicious carbonated soda Nuka-Cola and Nuka-Cola Quantumin Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas ?

Well, lucky fans in the US will be able purchase real-life Nuka-Cola Quantum exclusively at Target soon, as reported by this official Fallout Twitter account.

Bethesda has partnered with a boutique soft drinks manufacturer, Jones Soda, to produce real-life Nuka-Cola Quantum. As shown in the above image, the beverage is the same blue colour as the Nuka-Cola Quantum found in Fallout 3.

The Nuka-Cola Quantum will be a re-packaged version of Jones Soda’s existing berry lemonade flavor. We bet it’s delicious.

This radiated soda will be available at US Target stores starting on the release day of Fallout 4, which is the 10th of November.

However, this is not the only Fallout-related beverage coming out. Bethesda has partnered with Carlsberg UK to create a Fallout beer. This beer will be available via Amazon UK and begins shipping on the 5th of November.

Sadly, it appears we South Africans won’t be getting any Fallout-inspired drinks of our own. But at least some of us will be getting the Fallout 4‘s Pip-Boy Edition to enjoy, that should quell some of the pain.
