Minus unfounded speculation, this is about as far from a confirmation as it gets, but the idea of Red Dead Redemption 2 being in development is no less exciting, and fortunately, this is a little more than wild guessing.
Former Rockstar employee Danny Ross has teased the development of Red Dead Redemption 2 during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).
So, just how did he do it?
When asked what Rockstar is currently working on, Danny replied with: “Really? Dumbass. Really? Two.”
For much of the Q&A, Danny had given considerable or otherwise invested answers, so the fairly obvious RDR2 spelling comes across loud and clear, particularly when you consider how out of place the word “Two” otherwise would be.
Granted, it’s not a lot to go on, but Rockstar has hinted at the development of titles for franchises other than GTA before.
We’re hoping that if it is in development, Rockstar announce it at this year’s The Game Awards 2015. After all, journalist Geoff Keighley tweeted that at least 10 games would be premiered at the event.
