MWEB today launched its new 3GB data package, making its capped ADSL offerings significantly more affordable.
The new 3GB package is priced at R79.00 per month, well below the company’s previous capped pricing.
“The 3 GB offering, retailing at R79.00 per month, is a perfect entry level package without the concerns of reaching your data cap too quickly,” the company said in a press statement.
“We believe that South African consumers have a right to have access to the Internet and the only way we are going to achieve this will be to offer affordable ADSL to the market,” says Carolyn Holgate, General Manager of MWEB Connect.
“MWEB is the only ISP to offer 3 GB’s of data at such a low cost with a range of free value added extras such as 300 free Wi-Fi minutes when travelling, antivirus and antispam services, a free mail box, FaxMail and full technical support,” said Holgate.
