Fallout 4 has been known to cause pain, especially if you play it in Survival Mode and opt not to save often enough – it’s been known to throw some seriously tough opponents at you from time to time.
For Ben Rose, however, Fallout 4 has been a slightly different experience. He got hit by a car. Wait, what?!
The image above is the result of a driver accidentally hitting “the accelerator instead of the brakes when she was attempting to pull out of a parking space at the apartment complex.”
As you might imagine, Rose was rather taken aback by this newest addition to his living room. Fortunately, he was playing Fallout 4.
According to Rose, “The chair is what saved me, without a doubt”, he told CBSDFW. “That took the impact. It pushed me out of the way. It kept me from going under the car.”
Rose did suffer injury, suffered a fractured vertebra and a sliced Achilles tendon, but it certainly could have been worse.
And you thought the game’s frame rate issues would be the death of you.
