More Assassin’s Creed movie images released

Earlier this week, we got a small glimpse of Michael Fassbender in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie adaptation hitting cinemas in 2016, and these images from the latest issue of Empire magazine show us a lot more of the highly-anticipated film.

The initial image (above) showed Fassbender’s character of Callum Lynch (a new feature to the AC universe) as well as Marion Cotillard, whose role is unknown at this point, but it seems like she’ll be doing some stabby-stabby too and playing a possible love interest.

The new images debut a pair of exclusive stills from the movie showing Fassbender’s two characters, 15th-century swordsman Aguilar and his modern-day ancestor, Lynch, in action.

Assassin’s Creed hits theatres December 2016.
