Final Fantasy XV’s release date arrives March 30: new stealth and combat gameplay

Final Fantasy XV’s release date to be announced on March 30

After promising that Final Fantasy XV would release this year, having delayed the game on numerous occasions, Square Enix has finally set a date… where they’ll be announcing the release date.

Come March 30th, Square Enix will be announcing the release date of their latest, numbered flagship title in the Final Fantasy franchise.

The announcement will be made via an Active Time Report (ATR) Square Enix is calling, Final Fantasy XV Uncovered.

Final Fantasy XV Uncovered - ATR & Relese Date

Interestingly, we’ll be given an English event on YouTube as well as Twitch, as hosted by Greg Miller and Tim Gettys.

We also expect to hear about the improvements and polish made to the game since Episode Duscae and, subsequently, Episode Duscae 2.0.

There may even be news of a version 3.0, demonstrating some of the final changes and giving us one last chance to show Square Enix where the game needs improvement before release.

Until then, we’ve got some new footage for you. It comes from the January 30 ATR and demonstrates gameplay taking place at Nifheim Base, as well as some some stealth and combat gameplay.
