3DM suggest that cracking Denuvo’s DRM could be possible

We initially speculated that cracking group 3DM had abandoned cracking PC games, due to their experiences with games like Just Cause 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

These games used an anti-tamper DRM, provided by Denuvo, that made the games increasingly complex to crack.

This appears to not be the case, as 3DM has just announced that they’re not giving up on cracking games using Denuvo’s DRM.

With the latest announcement from one of the group’s leaders via TorrentFreak, it is suggested that 3DM have not abandoned the game piracy scene.

This is what 3DM’s leader “Bird Sister” had to say:

3DM will soon announce that we have a solution to the latest Denuvo encryption used on games including FIFA 16, Just Cause 3, and Tomb Raider: The Rise. We made this announcement because a lot of players believe we have abandoned cracking due to technical problems, but we will prove it is not the case. We have not yet been stumped.

The above statement doesn’t necessarily mean that 3DM have cracked Denuvo’s anti-tamper technology outright.

However, it is plausible that they could be onto something, regarding a method for cracking this DRM.

For now, it appears that 3DM’s passion for cracking is reignited and perhaps, they could indeed crack Denuvo’s DRM.
