Lara Croft and TGoL PS3 finally receives online patch

23 November 2010

Crystal Dynamics has now implemented online co-op in Lara Croft and the Guardian of light on the PS3. The online co-op mode has been sorely lacking from the title, which has received good reviews despite the missing feature.

The update comes nearly two months after the game launched on PSN, so it’s understandable if you haven’t fired it up lately to discover the patch ready and waiting. A whole new world of co-op online multi-player awaits.

The Xbox 360 version was the first to be updated with the feature, back in late October 2010. Crystal Dynamics originally planned to implement co-op alongside the PC and PSN release of the game, which launched at the end of September 2010, but clearly someone dropped the ball.

The situation has mostly been rectified, and now we are just waiting on the PC version being updated to complete the trifecta.
