We’ve previously spoken about what to expect from rAge Cape Town 2016. Now, an all-new Telkom Gaming League tournament is making its way to the very same expo.
Telkom’s new Digital Gaming League (DGL) will be in Cape Town for rAge 2016, taking place from 18-20 March.
It’s the first event in the Telkom DGL Masters series, with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive the game of choice.
“The tournament will feature eight teams, representing each of the eight Masters Multi-Gaming Organisations, for the R100,000 prize pool,” said Telkom.
The Masters main event will take take place at rAge Johannesburg in October, with a prize pool of R1 million up for grabs.
The teams competing at Masters level in 2016 are:
- Aperture Gaming
- Bravado Gaming
- CarboN eSports
- Damage Control
- Flipsid3
- Veneration E-Sports
- White Rabbit Gaming
- Xperts@Total.Chaos
