Lara Croft and TGoL scores a hat-trick with PC co-op patch

24 November 2010

Crystal Dynamics has implemented online co-op in Lara Croft and the Guardian of light for the PC after many long weeks of waiting. This completes the arduous roll-out of online co-op play that has been lacking from the title since it debuted on Xbox Aracde on 18 August and on PC and PSN on 28 September 2010.

Eager PC gamers can launch the game via Steam and receive the patch version 1.01.

On top of the update there a few other tweaks and fixes:

– Online Co-Op play added! Play online with your friends as either Lara or Totec.
– Improvements to in-game mouse/keyboard and gamepad controls.
– Improvements to overall performance and stability.
– Additional audio and visual polish.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on the PC currently sits with a Metacritic score of 82/100. The game is priced at US$15 (±R106) on Steam.

With the addition of online multiplayer co-op, the title may hold renewed appeal to those whom didn’t pick it up when it launched.
